When Will They Learn?

Chicago - Naive leaders give me ajita, especially the ones with hubris, too. French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told the media after the capture this week of Timbuktu that, "The mission (in Mali) is fulfilled" and, "From the second day people told us we would get bogged down. Today nobody dares to say that." Oh really? President Hollande deserves credit for his Mali campaign, but Le Drian should remember the George Bush "Mission Accomplished" moment and, in the words of Kenny Rogers, "Never count your money while you're sitting at the table."
