The cricket star and global celebrity Imran Khan is running for Prime Minister of Pakistan. Good luck with that one. Anyway, he confidently told a press conference in Lahore last week that "80% of Pakistan's leaders are corrupt." How does he know this? What study is he citing? Of course, like so many politicians, he just made the number up and is happy to see what sticks. The number may well be higher than that in Pakistan, but why won't the media (including UK and US reporters traveling with him) question the basis upon which he is making this specific claim? Maybe it's because 92.5% of them are lazy.
