They'll Do It Again.

Split, Croatia - It's worth celebrating the political demise of Italy's Silvio Berlusconi, at long last. He'll be lucky to avoid a well-deserved prison sentence on multiple corruption convictions.

What to make of the new crowd now running Forza Italia, however, which evicted Berlusconi from his own party's leadership? They're likely to name a new party secretary and standard bearer in Raffaele Fitto, former Governor of Puglia, who is appealing his own corruption convictions. How can anyone take seriously their claims to move beyond Berlusconi-style criminality? The people should demand better.
