"Out of tragedy, we have opportunity." So said Boston Mayor Marty Walsh during a New England Council session with regional leaders this morning. His words remind us that through the damage, danger, and despair of these times, we have opportunities to see things in new and different ways, challenge the status quo, and collaborate creatively to take real action and help move our world toward better days. No rose-colored glasses there. Rather, it's a mindset and a source of energy that is an essential predicate for any kind of sustainable American restoration.
